Multi-core applications for LABCAR-RTPC
One of the essential strong points of the LABCAR Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) testing system is its open, modular architecture, whose benefits are twofold: It permits the easy adaptation of the testing system to accommodate both future requirements and functional extensions. The strict segregation between the system-specific hardware and the PC-based computing engine facilitates the dedicated replacement and/or addition of individual hardware modules without the need for additional capital investment. In addition, it has now become possible to split up the model with a view to calculating concurrent segments on a multicore PC. The result is a further reduction of computing time.
