We offer two different business models at ETAS Engineering Services:
- Fixed price models
- Effort based price models
Depending on the technical and commercial needs or constraints, the chosen way – fixed price, effort based or even mixed models – may vary. We are ready to find the best fitting business model to customer specific needs.
As a rough guideline, fixed price models are best suitable for precise budgeting but require also fully specified user requirements and technical constraints as a solid calculation basis. Effort based price models on the other hand give our customers the highest technical flexibility during a project. They are typically used in consulting projects for engineering services without precise technical specification and for full-time resources in maintenance projects.
For very complex and long-term projects we usually propose to do a commercial and technical feasibility study first as a basis for a solid specification. We can also offer prototyping projects to give our customers a realistic view of the selected approach and the expected solution.
For security of investments we would also be glad to support projects after the delivery of a solution by providing on-site or long-term maintenance services.
