In a significant expansion of its AUTOSAR portfolio, ETAS also relies on the ECU-related technical skills and domain-specific expertise of the Bosch Group.
Besides the established, AUTOSAR-conformant development tools for automotive embedded software - such as ASCET and INTECRIO - ETAS offers a comprehensive portfolio of AUTOSAR-conformant authoring and configuration tools ISOLAR-A and ISOLAR-B, comprehensive Basic Software and comprehensive services for the development of AUTOSAR-conformant projects.
The consistent openness of ETAS AUTOSAR solutions facilitates their easy integration in existing development environments.
The new ES930 Multi-I/O Module by ETAS is a compact, rugged, and powerful measuring module featuring numerous input and output channels.
It is designed for a variety of applications in rapid prototyping, testing, and calibration. On the one hand, it functions as a very compact measuring module; on the other hand, it can do double duty controlling additional hardware in the vehicle or on the test bench.
With its multi-functionality, the new ES930 Multi-I/O Module is a powerful, flexible I/O all-rounder with an excellent price/performance ratio.
Electric motors of hybrid and electric vehicles provide high engine powers. They are operated at voltages in the range between 100 V and 1000 V and powered by a strong traction battery.
When handling voltages in this range, special measures have to be taken to protect the users. For this purpose, ETAS has developed the measurement cables CBN400 and CBN401 for the measurement module ES411. Four isolating, compact probes have been integrated into the cables, which are connected with short lines to the measuring points.
- Signal generator for stimulation of prototyping models
- Connection to the new ES930 Multi I/O Module together with the ES910 Prototyping Module
- Supports the latest versions of Simulink® and MS-Windows®
- Parallel model calculation on up to 8 cores
- Test of battery management systems on signal and power level
- E-motor simulation with FPGA based model
- Graphical build and debugging of automated test cases
- Synchronous data recording with calibration access
- ETK and XETK connection
INCA-MCE V1 – Now available as product solution
The INCA-MCE add-on to INCA supports rapid measurement, calibration, and control at the test bench by providing a real time connection to the ECU. INCA-MCE runs on the ES910.3 module serving as a real time ECU interface. Either the standard real time EtherCAT or the iLinkRT™ Ethernet protocol can be deployed to connect INCA-MCE with the test bench.
Did you know that all variables and parameters can be reset to their initial values by stopping/starting the experiment using the “Initialize variables at OS start” and “Initialize parameters at OS start” in the “Experiment” view tool options?
We recommend to use the current HSP for your LABCAR hardware.
In future, LABCAR-OPERATOR V5.1.0 will also support Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit).
As of V5.1.0, LABCAR-IP enables setting up different CAN residual bus variants (known as CAN parts). It is now also possible to switch the different configurations for CAN or FlexRay residual bus simulation on run time.
LABCAR-EE now includes a completely revised signal generator, the signals of which can be directly configured on run time in the Experiment Environment V3.3.0.
LABCAR-RTPC V5.1.0 includes a model step mode for debugging and testing, i.e. the step by step execution of real time simulation (in the web interface: Main Page >> Model Step).

New RealTimes Issue 2/2011
One of the highlights of the new issue of RealTimes is the extension of our AUTOSAR portfolio. Besides the familiar AUTOSAR-conformant development tools for automotive embedded software, we now offer AUTOSAR authoring and configuration tools, AUTOSAR Basic Software – including the RTA-OS operating system with multi-core support – and AUTOSAR services.
Around the world, too, we offer exciting news. Come travel with us to Japan, China, the United States, to Italy, or the United Kingdom, and allow yourself to be inspired – from research projects at technical universities in the Far East to an unusual high-speed record on the American salt flats.
We wish you a fascinating read!
