INCA-FLEXRAY

INCA-FLEXRAY

The communication system FlexRay is being established as the 'de facto standard' by the FlexRay consortium. The first cars with FlexRay on board are now on the road. Similar to CAN, FlexRay is becoming an important serial backbone medium in both automotive powertrain and chassis applications. This add-on enables the use of all currently implemented FlexRay functionalities and interfaces in INCA. Thus INCA can support the development and calibration of FlexRay ECUs. FlexRay signals are handled in their physical representation and are time synchronized with all other measurement and calibration data in INCA.

Functions at a Glance

  • ASAM FIBEX standard as network description file for interface configuration and signal input
  • INCA supports the essential FIBEX standard baseline versions V1.1.5a and V1.2.0a
  • Monitoring of physical signals from frames on the FlexRay bus
  • The user can monitor all signals of the selected FlexRay cluster, described in the FIBEX file
  • Time synchronization between FlexRay and other (ETK, CAN) data
  • Derive causal data occurrence information for event analysis
  • FlexRay channels A and B are handled as two different devices
  • The user can identify redundant signals on channels A/B
  • The ES520 integration supports SYNC and STARTUP functionality
  • Ability to work in a 2-node environment: Startup ECU and INCA-FLEXRAY interface
