ASCET-RP enables rapid prototyping of software functions created in ASCET – both in the laboratory and in the vehicle. This enables early validation of functions and the data supply of calibration labels.
Via ASCET-RP software functions are connected with the I/O and the bus systems of the rapid prototyping system and run there on an OSEK operating system whereby testing close to serial ECU environment is possible.
For calibration engineers working with INCA the rapid prototyping system represents another ECU and can be measured and calibrated with the same mechanisms. Accordingly, the calibration engineer e.g., receives a combined measuring file with signals from the ECU and the rapid prototyping system on a completely time-synchronized basis.
