The ES700 family of products is focused on the in-vehicle tasks of data collection and monitoring. There are currently two products in this product family: The Drive Recorder and the ES780 Heads-Up Display.
The tasks of data collection and monitoring without the direct use of the laptop PC in the vehicle is possible with this family of products. The limited use of the laptop while in-vehicle provides a safer working environment for the user.
The ES715 Drive Recorder allows the logging of data via any ETAS hardware interface without the need for the INCA laptop to be in the vehicle. The ES715 contains two onboard CAN channels. Configuration and retrieval of measurement data is done via a unique and easy to use web interface. Any user familiar with operating a web browser can interface to the ES715. The Drive Recorder allows anyone to drive a vehicle or run a dynamometer test while collecting data from all connected ETAS hardware without the need to start a laptop and configure anything in INCA.
The ES780 Heads-Up Display is an add-on to the INCA measurement and calibration tool that allows routine measurement and calibration tasks to take place with your hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road. This is established by a display mounted on the dash of the car and a remote interface called the “thummer”. The use of a programmable wireless input device instead of the PC keyboard to control INCA makes the in-vehicle calibration and measurement experience safer and more convenient.
Together with INCA and any ETAS hardware modules you currently use in the vehicle, the ES780 and ES715 can be connected to your system via Ethernet and be used immediately.
