CAN and K-Line Interface Board
The ES1222-A board is designed for powerful rapid prototyping as well as for high performance measurement and calibration applications. The intelligent interface board ES1222.4-A can be used to connect one or more control units to an ES1000 system via the CAN interfaces and/or the K-Line interface. This permits the plug-in card to be used for the following applications:
- Control unit calibration via CAN bus and/or diagnostic interface
- Recording of communication data in one or more CAN networks
- Simulation of CAN nodes in CAN networks
- Flash programming of control units
- Control unit diagnostics
- Connection of external devices to VME bus systems via the CAN interface
- Measurement of environmental data, e.g., via IPETRONIK modules
