Arbitrary Signal Generator Board for Sensor Simulation
For ECU tests in the development phase it is often necessary to simulate sensor signals as the complete system environment of the ECU is not yet available. The ES1335 provides 6 galvanically isolated arbitrary signal generators for the generation of signals with specific frequencies, amplitudes and pulse widths.
The ES1335 is cascadable in order to provide enough outputs to support, e.g., tests of 12 cylinder ECUs on VME LABCARs.
Application examples are:
- Generation of speed-synchronous crank/camshaft signals for gasoline and diesel injection ECUs
- Generation of speed signals for transmission ECUs
With the optional Piggyback PB1335TRIG it is possible to add 6 trigger inputs for external triggering of 6 arbitrary signal generators.
