In 1998, Vetronix designed the MTS 3200 (Consult II) Scan Tester for the worldwide Nissan dealership network.

The MTS 3200 combines a PowerPC microprocessor with a touch screen and an integrated graphical line printer to produce a robust full-function Scan Tester. It supports measurements of analog signals via a built-in oscilloscope and graphing multimeter, utilizes two expansion PCMCIA card slots, and has a built-in Ethernet port to hook into local area networks directly at the dealership. The MTS 3200 Scan Tester was designed with a dedicated software authoring system to facilitate Nissan's diagnostic software authoring efforts.

The MTS 3200 Scan Tester utilizes a PowerPC microprocessor and database technologies in conjunction with our authoring system, enabling it to be tailored to any service environment.

The MTS 3200 Scan Tester supports the following features:

It has dual channel trace scope and graphing meter as well as temperature, pressure and current measurement functions. The MTS 3200 Scan Tester provides diagnostic data parameters in the following modes: LED Mode, Bar Chart Mode and Line Graph Mode.
