Key Job Responsibilities:
The objective of a system engineer is to customize ETAS products based on specific customer requirements including set-up and after-sales support. The involved products are testing tools for automotive ECUs (Electronic Control Unit).
The tasks include but are not limited to:
- Lead/clarify customer requirements and prepare suitable system configurations based on ETAS products and services
- Technical consulting and demonstrations
- Provide System/Product Training to customers
- On-site support
Main Job Requirements / Qualifications:
Working experience:
- 5 years technical experience with real-time automotive control systems preferably in the area of new energy vehicles or chassis control systems
- 3 years experience with hardware-in-the-loop testing including simulation models
Education:
- University degree in a technical field related to electronics or software
Skills / Abilities:
- native in Chinese (mandarin), fluent in English language
- excellent understanding about the control strategies in at least one of the following areas:
engine control, transmission control, chassis control, E-motor control, battery control for E-vehicles - experience with modeling tools (Matlab / Simulink, ASCET)
- understanding the development process of automotive control software
- knowledge about the electric specification of automotive electronic control units
- good analytic skills
- capability to integrate and work in a multinational team
- willingness to travel frequently within China
