New edition of the ETAS eNewsletter

As we approach the end of the year, this newsletter will provide you with information on our new products.

The ETAS RTPRO-PC software turns an ordinary PC into a real-time target for prototyping of new ECU functions. Applications such as ASCET, INTECRIO or INCA can be executed parallel to Windows^® real-time operation.

Tried and tested in production is the new ETAS LABCAR for Battery Management Systems for efficient testing of high performance battery systems’ behavior for (hybrid) electric vehicles up to 120 cells.

BUSMASTER is an open source PC software for design, monitoring, analysis, and simulation of CAN networks. The BUSMASTER software project, sponsored by RBEI and ETAS, is open to contributions from research and industry.

Our new EHOOKS tools for fast and reliable insertion of bypass hooks into existing ECU software, met with very positive feedback from our customers. EHOOKS is now also supported by Continental.

In the application field "ECU measurement data acquisition, calibration and diagnostics", we have expanded our product portfolio:  The new INCA version 7 provides many improvements, new functionality and open interfaces. With the new  ES593-D interface module, including Ethernet switch functionality, we present a new powerful, flexible and scalable solution for accessing ECUs and CAN buses in the vehicle.

This edition of our newsletter shall inform you about the latest innovations and developments at ETAS, such as the introduction of our new compact hardware modules, the cooperation with IAV within the area of automation of calibration tasks and our cost-effective, flexible HiL systems for HEV applications.

Furthermore we added two new sections to this version: The section “New Product Release @ ETAS” shall provide an overview about lately released product versions and subversions with their new features. Valuable hints about the handling of our products are included in the new section “Tips & Tricks”.

This is the very first issue of the ETAS eNewsletter. In this and further editions you will learn anything new around our products, we will introduce special offers and inform you about our participation at trade shows and events.
