ETAS Connections reaches next level
Some 240 attendees, including guests from abroad, used ETAS Connections on November 27–28, 2017 as an opportunity for professional exchange, networking, and to peer into the future. This year’s convention lasted a full two days and focused on artificial intelligence (AI).

Anniversary year at ETAS
In 2017, ETAS has celebrated the 20th anniversary of INCA and the 25th anniversary of the ETK interface in customer operations. A good reason to walk down memory lane and admire the INCA and ETK highlights of the past centuries.

Wake-up call from Washington
News from the ETAS subsidiary ESCRYPT: The United States legislature has taken the first steps towards establishing a legal framework for automated and autonomous driving. If the “Self Drive Act” passes into law, IT security for cars with automated driver assistance systems will become a necessary precondition for approval in the USA.

Inglorious Bees successful in Capture the Flag competition
The cross-divisional team “Inglorious Bees” of ETAS and ESCRYPT achieved 5th place at the national cyber security event of the Bundeswehr University of Munich.

New training center for ETAS Korea
An increase in training programs demanded an expansion of the training center at ETAS Korea. The opening of the new facility was celebrated in a ceremony held on October 20.
