ETAS ASCET-DEVELOPER – the easy way to safer embedded software |
A click is all it takes to generate software code for the highest demands using ASCET. That has long been the case. But the ASCET-DEVELOPER can do even more. It raises model-based development of embedded systems to a new level of safety, security, and productivity. |

A handle on the future – Virtualized testing and XiL for automated driving |
Advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) have come so far that the step to automated driving is nearly within reach. But before sensor-based electronic systems can actually replace human drivers, they must be fully secured, which means nothing short of verifying error-free interaction between software/hardware systems and a variable environment. |

“We want to understand our customers’ requirements” |
As in previous years, the annual summer testing took place under the hot sun of the Sierra Nevada in Granada, Spain, where automotive manufacturers put their cars well and truly through their paces. An ETAS team was on site and even provided a pit stop. What made it different was that the crew comprised not only support associates, but also associates from the development and user experience (UX) departments. |

ETAS and Lynx Software Technologies – Separate yet together |
Connected vehicles, vehicle computers, cyber security, global distributed development, new powertrain solutions…the list of automotive innovations is quite long. But there is one thing that all these systems share in common: The need for a clear separation of application software from different sources. |

Formula Student Germany 2018 – A great result for the teams and ETAS! |
This year’s Formula Student Germany competition took place in Hockenheim on August 6-12. The Formula Student Germany is one of the most regarded engineering competitions in Europe and took place for the 13th time. We are proud to report that the winning teams in all three categories were teams that we have been sponsoring for years. |
