25 Years ETAS. Still wild at heart.
Dear Sir or Madam,
ETAS celebrated its 25th anniversary on June 1 this year. A perfect moment to pause and look back on the last 25 years. Who could do better than associates who have been with the company for many years? In our anniversary film they talk about the beginnings of the company and what makes ETAS special for them. Enjoy watching!

In addition, there are also news from our product and solution portfolio in this issue of RealTimes online. Look forward to two exciting technical articles and a video about RTA-VRTE, an AUTOSAR Platform Software Framework for Vehicle Computers, developed together with the Bosch Group.

Enjoy reading!

Best regards,
Your ETAS team

Happy Birthday, ETAS!

ETAS was founded 25 years ago, on June 1, 1994. To celebrate this special anniversary, we have made a film about ETAS and the people who have been with ETAS for a long time.

Efficient Basis for Fusing Camera Data and Ultrasonic Signals
Bosch is currently preparing the next generation of its near-range camera system for series production. The system combines ultrasonic sensors and at least four near-range cameras to monitor the vehicle’s surroundings. Intelligent data processing takes place on a single control unit with a multicore microprocessor. A hypervisor developed by ETAS’ partner Lynx Software Technologies acts as the enabler in the background.

Measurement and Evaluation System for achieving desired levels of drivability
Calibration engineers often have to work under intense time pressure to tune the driving behavior of numerous different vehicle variants and models. Currently, they rely on their expertise and gut instincts to carry out this tuning process. ETAS, in collaboration with IAV, has developed a measurement and evaluation system based on INCA-FLOW that allows engineers to tune even large numbers of vehicles efficiently.
