ETAS Korea cooperates with Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science & Technology
ETAS AUTOSAR solution for talent development and R&D projects in the automotive IT sector.
On February 8, ETAS Korea signed a ”Memorandum of Understanding“ (MoU) with Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology (DGIST) for cooperation in the field of automotive IT. Based on the MoU, ETAS Korea will support DGIST in adopting the ETAS automotive open system architecture (AUTOSAR) solution and implementing research and development (R&D) projects on automotive software and technology.
DGIST is an institute committed to talent development based on its educational philosophy of convergence and the research of key technologies for autonomous vehicles. In cooperation with the institute, ETAS Korea will be engaged in talent nurturing and R&D projects in the field of automotive IT. It will particularly help DGIST to benefit from the ETAS AUTOSAR solution and enhance its R&D results.
Based on the classic AUTOSAR architecture and the adaptive AUTOSAR platform for autonomous and connected vehicles, the ETAS AUTOSAR solution provides a customized engineering and consulting service including tools that can be synchronized to the entire cycle of automotive software development.
“I hope the cooperation will mean another leap forward not only for the growth of both ETAS Korea and DGIST, but also the development of the automotive industry. To that mutual aim, ETAS Korea will build a closer relationship with DGIST and provide support whenever needed,” said Jinhyeong Kim, General Manager of ETAS Korea.
