New ASCET Version 6.1 available

Extended Functions Aid AUTOSAR Component Development

For many years, the ASCET product family has stood for highly efficient and safe model-based ECU software development for ECUs, up to the point of fully automatic generation of high-quality production code. The new version, ASCET V6.1, is now is available. Its extended functions for modeling AUTOSAR-compliant software support the AUTOSAR releases 2.1, 3.0, and 3.1, and offer essential advantages for the distributed development of AUTOSAR software and the migration of proprietary models.

The open, documented, XML-based interfaces support the seamless integration into existing tool environments. MATLAB®/Simulink® models can be imported into ASCET and refined for the subsequent use of ASCET’s specific code generation capabilities. Another option is importing UML models. The program’s IEC 61508 and ISO 26262 certifiable code generator now generates fully MISRA-C:2004-compliant high efficient, low overhead production code.

With these improvements, the standardized configuration management interface and the possibility of easy and clear comparison of models, the new ASCET Version 6.1 is the first choice for the professional development of AUTOSAR-compliant automotive embedded software. ASCET V6.1 is already in use by more than 2000 developers.
