A big trade fair hall in the middle of Nuremberg. 902 exhibitors from 37 countries. 1,615 attendees and speakers. 25,500 visitors. The world’s largest exhibition and conference on embedded systems – this was embedded world 2015.
Highlights of embedded world 2015
In the midst of this melting pot for embedded systems: ETAS. The company booth featured the AUTOSAR solutions, which attracted many visitors, and embedded security presented by ETAS subsidiary ESCRYPT. Moreover, ETAS introduced the next generation of measuring and calibration solutions, plus over-the-air vehicle software updates.
In addition, press meetings arranged with the ETAS and ESCRYPT management boards, gave journalists the chance to ask questions and discuss important trends such as autonomous driving, connectivity, safety, and security.
The last day of the fair was devoted to the engineers of tomorrow. More than 1,000 students from Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic had the chance to learn about trends and innovations in embedded systems. They were also eager to talk to the ETAS Human Resources Department about job and career prospects.
The flavor of this year’s exhibition was even more international than before: 46% of speakers and exhibitors hailed from foreign countries. Therefore, it wasn’t just the participants, but also the innovations, ideas, and solutions that provided knowledge and inspiration from all over the world.
As Prof. Matthias Sturm, Chairman of the Exhibition Committee, pointed out: now that the trade fair is over, it’s time to get ready for the next one. Preparations are already under way, so save the date: February 23-25, 2016 in Nuremberg!
