Meet Henrique Manguino

Program Manager, Customer Teams

Portrait of Henrique Manguino

Henrique Manguino is a Program Manager for a key Customer Team, based in Plymouth, Michigan. For 15 years, Henrique has been an integral part of ETAS, dedicating over a decade to working directly with global automotive manufacturers. His role is multifaceted: he embeds himself within customer engineering and management teams, deeply understanding their technical challenges and future ambitions, and then translates these needs back into ETAS's strategic planning. For Henrique, it’s about far more than just providing tools; it's about fostering genuine partnership. What motivates him most is operating at the cutting edge of automotive innovation, helping to shape what actually appears on the road in 3-5 years. He takes immense pride in the trust ETAS has earned, viewing the company not merely as a supplier but as a foundational partner in some of the world's most ambitious automotive projects.

Did you know?
Henrique is so deeply embedded in his customers' world that he often says he learns more in a 15-minute coffee conversation in a customer's cafeteria than in five emails. A true demonstration of the power of personal proximity.

Henrique's approach is defined by "radical transparency and a laser focus on the customer." He champions direct, honest conversations that cut through noise, believing this is the only way to build the trust necessary to solve root problems, not just symptoms. This ethos was critical in the development of a major OEM's leading ADAS hands-free driving system, a program Henrique has been involved with for nearly a decade. Today, hundreds of engineers at this manufacturer rely on ETAS tools for the development, validation, and calibration of that system, a testament to the seamless integration and partnership ETAS provides.

My role is to be a bridge. It's a partnership, not a sales pitch – and that builds the trust required to solve real problems.

Henrique Manguino

Henrique's work puts him at the heart of the software-defined vehicle (SDV) revolution. He recognizes that this shift is not merely a technical challenge of new E/E architectures, but a profound cultural transformation in how vehicles are conceived, developed, and monetized. The human-systems interface, where technology often outpaces an organization's ability to adapt, is the true frontier he helps customers navigate. His team is currently focused on the elegant and safe integration of safety-critical microcontrollers (MCUs) with high-performance central computers (SoCs) – a key technical puzzle for the next generation of vehicles that demands both raw processing power and deterministic real-time safety.Henrique is excited by the convergence of ADAS and SDV trends. ADAS presents the ultimate challenge where AI, complex hardware, and functional safety meet the unpredictable real world. Simultaneously, the push for EVs and SDVs creates a "greenfield" opportunity to rethink the vehicle's entire architecture. By providing superior tools and processes, Henrique and his team accelerate the delivery of safer, more sustainable mobility, directly contributing to reducing accidents and enabling a cleaner, more efficient, and constantly improving mode of transportation.
