Performance improvements for remote calibration
With Service Pack 4, INCA automatically updates the graphical user interface for calibration changes performed remotely via ASAP3 or COM-API. This boosts the performance of remote calibration changes significantly.
Calibration label boundaries checked during import and export of ECU projects
The ASAM MCD-2 MC (ASAP2) file describes maximum and minimum boundaries for calibration labels which should not be exceeded. In addition to the existing boundary check during calibration by the Experiment Environment and Calibration Data Manager, INCA now supports boundary checking during the import of ECU project files. As an option, checking can also be turned off for performance reasons. When turned off, boundary checking for already imported data sets can still be performed within INCA’s database browser.
ES583 USB FlexRay Bus Interface supported
The ES583 module is a pocket-sized piece of FlexRay hardware, which is connected to a USB port on the INCA PC.
INCA-MCE: dynamic emulation RAM mode supported
For the calibration of ECUs with limited emulation RAM, i.e. with a working page that is smaller than the reference page, INCA provides two calibration concepts for ETKs. In “preparation mode”, users have to select the calibration labels they want to change in advance. In “dynamic mode”, INCA manages the emulation RAM automatically and tells users what calibration labels can be changed. The INCA-MCE add-on, which provides fast ECU access via EtherCAT or iLinkRT, now also supports both the dynamic and the preparation modes.
