At IAA Mobility 2025, we explored some of the key questions shaping the future of automotive software: How can AI accelerate the development of software-defined vehicles? How can open software architectures drive innovation? And how can vehicle software become more scalable, efficient and secure?

Our experts showcased the ETAS Vehicle Software Platform Suite, designed to support the transition from traditional ECUs to next-generation vehicle computers and enable greater software portability across vehicle platforms. We also presented our Comprehensive Measurement Solution for μP-based Vehicle Computers, helping developers efficiently measure and optimize vehicle functions throughout the SDV development process.

On stage, Fedra Ribeiro (Bosch) and Mariella Minutolo (ETAS) discussed “AI-Driven Software-Defined Vehicles: Success Strategies” and how AI and GenAI can transform ADAS and accelerate SDV development. Another highlight was the panel “Safe, fast, innovative: Why the Future of Vehicle Software Is Open”, bringing together industry perspectives on open-source software, AUTOSAR Adaptive and Eclipse S-CORE – and on how collaboration can shape the next generation of vehicle software.
