Don’t Miss Our Live Session
Keynote: “Bridging the Gap: Deploying High-Performance Pre-Integrated Software Stacks on Hardware-Accelerated Automotive Ethernet Switches” with Shukla Siddharth (Senior Product Manager, ETAS)
As vehicle architectures transition toward Zonal and Centralized models, the demand for high-speed packet processing and robust cybersecurity has reached a critical inflection point. This session explores the deployment of an end-to-end, pre-integrated software solution optimized for automotive Ethernet switches. We examine the implementation of hardware-assisted engines, specifically Firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and Layer 3 Routing Engines to offload CPU-intensive tasks and ensure deterministic performance.
A core focus is the integration of these high-speed networking features with standard AUTOSAR touchpoints, creating a hybrid environment that meets automotive safety requirements while enabling modern Ethernet throughput. By analyzing the synergy between hardware acceleration and software-defined networking (SDN), this architecture reduces system complexity and enhances reliability in next-generation software-defined vehicles (SDVs).
This results in:
- Dramatic Cost Savings
Reduction in specialized engineering hours and simplified bill-of-materials (BOM). - Faster Time-to-Market (TTM)
Accelerated validation cycles through pre-tested hardware-software synergy. - Future-Proofing
A scalable foundation that allows for over-the-air (OTA) updates to networking logic as security threats evolve.
