Goodbye complexity

Bring GeneSys motion data directly into INCA

Advanced vehicle tests depend on more than ECU data alone. In use cases such as automated parking, VRU testing, and automated driving validation, engineers also need precise position, motion, and ADAS-related information in real time. The challenge is not just capturing that data but bringing different data sources together synchronously in a test setup that is practical to deploy and easy to scale.

Key challenges

Complex test environments

Precise and reliable reference data acquisition across parking, VRU, and open-road test scenarios requires the real-time capture and synchronization of motion, position, ADAS, and vehicle data.

Integration overhead

Additional interfaces, hardware dependencies, and cabling increase setup effort.

Slow test readiness

Complex integration delays test execution and creates avoidable engineering work.

Limited flexibility

Test teams need a solution that fits existing hardware and adapts to different use cases.

ETAS extends INCA with a new add-on for inertial navigation sensor integration based on GeneSys systems. In addition to the established CAN interface, the solution provides Ethernet connectivity, making it easier to connect GeneSys hardware directly to INCA. This gives engineers a straightforward way to bring high-precision motion and positioning data into the same measurement environment they already use for vehicle testing and calibration. The result is a simpler workflow for synchronized data acquisition across motion domains. If GeneSys hardware is already available in the customer environment, integration can be done quickly via a standard network cable, without the need for a CAN environment or additional cabling. Where required, ETAS also supports the setup with engineering services tailored to the specific test scenario.

Your benefits

Integrate GeneSys systems into INCA via Ethernet without requiring a dedicated CAN environment.

Reduce cabling and setup complexity in demanding vehicle test environments.

Bring motion, position, and ADAS-relevant data together in one synchronized workflow.

Get to test readiness faster with plug-and-play integration when GeneSys hardware is already installed.
